This policy describes the standards for imported news on Juristas.MX.
Sources and publication
Imported news must cite a primary source on an official .gob.mx domain or subdomain. Other media may help identify a topic, but do not replace the primary source. The import checks the address format; this alone does not verify the facts or the current legal position.
Before publication, the material must be checked against the source: jurisdiction, status of a proposal or adopted act, publication and effective dates, and the people affected. Unconfirmed dates and conclusions must not be presented as established facts. Imported news is limited to two articles per calendar day for this site, including translations.
AI and illustrations
AI may assist with drafting, translation, summaries and illustrations. Its output may contain errors and must be checked against the source. An illustrative image is not evidence of an event. Generated or illustrative covers must not be presented as documentary photographs.
Review by a lawyer
Publication, an editorial account and a source link do not by themselves mean that a lawyer has reviewed an article. Do not assume such a review unless the article explicitly identifies the reviewer and the reviewed version.
Corrections
To report an error, contact the site with the article URL, the disputed statement and, where possible, a primary source. A substantive correction should identify what changed and when. Unsupported material may be withdrawn.
Scope
News provides general information as of publication or update. It does not replace advice about your circumstances or guarantee an outcome. You can ask a lawyer a question about your situation.
